La Cancha is a daily logic puzzle on a 7 by 7 grid. Split the board into rectangles, following the numbers, until every square belongs to exactly one "pitch". There is only one solution and you can always reach it by reasoning, never by guessing. Everyone in the world gets the same board each day.
Each rectangle you close flips over like a trading card and reveals a sport from the country of the day, with a fact about it. The Mexico edition covers boxing, football, baseball, diving and ulama, the ancient ballgame. When you solve the board, all of the day's facts come together under "What you learned today". Editions for the United States and France are on the way.
